Magnet Program
Math and Science Magnet
M. C. Williams Middle School’s Magnet program provides an
enriched curriculum for students with a keen interest in math and
science. Various instructional strategies are implemented to ensure
that the program meets the needs of all students and their different
learning abilities. Strategies include research activities, independent
study, cooperative grouping, etc., which heighten hands-on activities
and real-world experiences. These strategies are specifically designed
to set high expectations for all students and to create a safe, caring
school environment where learning is encouraged and can flourish.
Our classes are stimulated by a curriculum that induces activities that
foster positive leadership development. In addition, an advanced
curriculum (Pre-Advanced Placement courses) is offered in all core
subjects. It is the desire of the faculty that students accept the foregoing
challenges and be successful in their endeavors.
