Robotics

Along with the enhanced core curriculum, our Magnet program
provides students with a competitive atmosphere. One component
of our program that offers this opportunity is our robotics class. This
course integrates technology with science. Robotics, taught by one of
our highly qualified math teachers with an engineering background,
also incorporates engineering, math, and communications. This class
utilizes hands-on activities and real-world experiences by integrating
project-based learning. Students study the design of robots and focus
on constructing and creating computer programs for the operation of
these robots in preparation for various competitions.
